The hubs and I (and youngest son) moved to Colorado a couple of years ago.
In that time I’ve packed on 40 lbs, and the hubs has been right there with me. It’s pretty hard to believe. So a couple of weeks ago we both bit the bullet and joined Weight Watchers.
It’s been a couple of weeks and so far I’m pleasantly surprised. I’ve lost 13 pounds and the hubs has lost 21. You get a set amount of “points” every day to eat and you have a bank of “extra points” to use throughout your week. I like to save my extra points for the weekend so I can go out and have a treat, the hubs has been pretty hardcore and hasn’t dipped into his extra points yet (but he gets quite a lot of daily points).
So I think I’m going to take this blog and follow our journey and post the Weight Watchers Smart Points values of recipes I cook and create that hopefully someone else will find useful.
